What is Jesus doing right now?
We often think about what Jesus did—his birth, his death, even his resurrection. But the Nicene Creed invites us to consider something we often overlook: what Christ is doing today.
In this session from our Nicene Creed series, we explore three defining movements of Christ’s ministry:He rose. He ascended. He is seated.
This isn’t just theology for the classroom—it’s truth meant to reshape how we see our lives, our prayers, and our world.
The resurrection isn’t just life after death—it’s death itself being undone.
The ascension isn’t Jesus disappearing—it’s Jesus entering into his reign.
His being seated at the right hand of the Father means he is ruling over all things and interceding for us right now.
If you’ve ever wondered whether Jesus feels distant, passive, or removed from your everyday life, this conversation is for you.
Because the good news of the gospel doesn’t end with an empty tomb.
Jesus is alive. He is present. He is reigning. He is interceding.
And that changes everything.

Life feels unsettled right now—political division, global conflict, constant change. It’s easy to wonder: Who’s really in control? Is history just chaos? Where can I find hope and peace?
In this opening message from our series in the book of Daniel, Pastor Mace Perez invites us into the story of a young man taken into exile under a powerful empire—and into a truth that changes everything: history is not random. Behind the rise and fall of kingdoms stands the sovereign God whose kingdom cannot be shaken.
From the fiery furnace to the lion’s den, and from astonishing visions of future empires to the humble confession of a powerful king in Daniel 4:34–37, this book reveals that God rules over every kingdom and is bringing all things toward His eternal kingdom. And because of that, His people can live with faithfulness, courage, and hope—even in uncertain times.
Ultimately, Daniel points us to Jesus—the true King who came, died, and rose again to bring us into His kingdom… and who will return to establish it forever.
If you’re exploring faith, asking questions, or simply looking for something steady in a shaky world, this message is for you.

What if Easter isn’t the end of the story?
We often think of the resurrection as the grand finale—Jesus dies, and then He rises. Death defeated. Hope restored. And that’s true.
But the Gospel of Mark tells the story differently. It ends not with celebration, but with tension…with fear…with people who don’t know what to do next.
Almost like the story isn’t finished yet.
In this Easter message from Mark 16:1–8, Pastor Mace Perez explores what it means that the story of Jesus didn’t end at the cross—or even at the empty tomb—and how the resurrection isn’t just something to believe, but something that invites a response.
Whether you’re exploring Christianity or looking to go deeper, we hope this message helps you take a next step.

How do you know when someone truly loves you?
It’s not just in what someone says—it’s in what they do. And the clearest expressions of love are often the most costly.
In this episode, Pastor Mace Perez continues our Nicene Creed series by exploring the meaning of Christ’s death: that He “was crucified… suffered… and was buried… for us.” Far from abstract theology, these words point to real historical events—under Pontius Pilate—and invite us to consider their personal significance.
Why the cross?
This episode addresses questions like:
Did Jesus really die—and why does it matter?
Why is the cross central to the Christian faith?
What does it mean that Jesus died “for us”?
Whether you’re exploring Christianity or seeking a deeper understanding of the gospel, this teaching offers both clarity and invitation.
The cross is not just something to understand. It’s something to trust.

On Palm Sunday, Jesus enters Jerusalem to the shouts of “Hosanna!”—hailed as the long-awaited King and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
But the crowd’s expectations didn’t fully match His mission.
In this message from Mark 11:1–11, we explore The King Who Came to Suffer—how Jesus reveals Himself as the true King, not by conquering through power, but by giving His life. The Triumphal Entry offers a glimpse of the kingdom we all long for, while also confronting us with a deeper question: will we follow Jesus not only in celebration, but also on the road to the cross?
Whether you’re exploring Christianity or seeking to grow in your faith, this sermon invites you to consider the kind of King Jesus is—and what it means to trust and follow Him.

What does it really mean that God became human—and why does it matter for your life?
In Session 5 of our Nicene Creed class, Pastor Steven Hiller explores one of the most profound and central claims of the Christian faith: the incarnation of Jesus Christ. This isn’t abstract theology—it’s the heart of the Christian Story.
From the first promise in Genesis to the humility of Christ in Philippians, this episode traces how God the Son entered into our world—not by losing His divinity, but by taking on our humanity. Fully God. Fully man. For us and for our salvation.
The incarnation reveals that God is not distant—He has stepped into our story.

What if the biggest battles in your life aren’t the ones you can see?
In this sermon from Ephesians 6:10–24, Pastor Mace Perez explores the reality that behind so much of the confusion, discouragement, and division we experience, there is a deeper, unseen spiritual conflict. But instead of calling us to fear, the apostle Paul calls the church to stand—together—in the strength that God provides.
Drawing on the imagery of the “armor of God,” this message shows that the Christian life isn’t about trying harder or becoming stronger on our own. It’s about standing firm in what is already ours in Christ—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation—and living that out together as His people.
Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or simply looking for something more grounded and enduring, this episode invites you to consider where your strength is coming from—and what it might look like to stand firm in something (or Someone) greater than yourself.

What does it actually look like when the gospel begins to change someone’s life?
It’s easy to look spiritual for an hour on Sunday. But what about the other 167 hours of the week? What would the people closest to us—our spouse, our kids, our coworkers, or our classmates—say about our character and our faith?
In this sermon from Epistle to the Ephesians 5:22–6:9, Pastor Mace Perez explores what the Apostle Paul says a Spirit-filled life looks like in our closest relationships. Paul applies the gospel to the ordinary places where life actually happens—our marriages, our families, and even our work.
Far from promoting control or hierarchy, this passage shows how the lordship of Christ transforms everyday life. When Christ is truly Lord, authority becomes sacrificial responsibility, and submission becomes devotion to Him. The gospel doesn’t just change what we believe—it reshapes how we love, serve, and lead the people around us.

What does it mean to live as children of light in a dark world?
In this sermon from Ephesians 5:1–21, we explore the Apostle Paul’s call for Christians to live out their identity in Christ. Writing to new Gentile believers, Paul reminds them—and us—that the Christian life begins with who we already are in Christ. Through Jesus, we are united to Him in salvation and united to one another in His Church.
Because of that union, Paul calls us to imitate God as beloved children.
In this passage we see three marks of a life shaped by the light of Christ:
• Children of light imitate God’s love — just as Christ gave Himself for us.• Children of light shun the darkness — rejecting the selfish patterns of the old life.• Children of light shine in and through the Church — exposing darkness and reflecting the truth, goodness, and beauty of the Christian Story.
Paul’s message is not moralism or legalism. It is a call to live into the identity already given to us in Christ. When the Church gathers—singing truth, encouraging one another, and walking together in the Spirit—the light of Christ becomes visible in a dark world.
If you’re exploring Christianity, rediscovering faith, or looking for a deeper and more historic vision of the Christian life, this passage invites us to consider what it means to truly walk in the light.

Who is Jesus—really?
In this episode, we continue our study through the Nicene Creed, focusing on the full divinity of the Son. In A.D. 325, the Church gathered at Nicaea to respond to the claim that “there was a time when the Son was not.” The Creed’s answer was precise, biblical, and enduring.
We explore what these defining lines mean:
God from God
Light from Light
True God from true God
Begotten, not made
Of the same essence as the Father
Through Him all things were made
What do these phrases actually communicate? Why did they matter in the fourth century—and why do they still matter today?
In a world where many people say, “I believe in God,” but mean very different things, clarity is essential. The Creed gives us language rooted in Scripture to confess that Jesus Christ is not a created being, not a lesser god, not an intermediary—but truly God from God, Light from Light.
If you’re seeking a deeper, historically grounded understanding of who Jesus is, this episode will help you think carefully and worship confidently.
