The Journey's Distinctives: Doctrinal Distinctives

Steven concludes our two-part series on The Journey’s Distinctives. Our Core Convictions are our beliefs about what make up the essence of Christianity, the things believed everywhere, always, and by all. Our Distinctives are beliefs about which genuine Christians may disagree but that have a significant impact on the life and teaching ministry of our local church. In part two, we cover our Doctrinal Distinctives, The Journey’s distinctives on various theological and significant social and ethical issues.  We cover topics such as the proper methodology for biblical interpretation, God’s design for the family, the sovereignty of God in salvation, the relationship between the church and the nation of Israel, and the millennial kingdom of Christ. Our goal in this series is to be clear about where we stand and create a culture of thoughtful, charitable dialogue regarding debated and potentially controversial theological issues.
